We receive notices from time to time of community events which may interest some of you. Here's one which came this past week:

Attached is a flyer for an event that is happening on April 18th. If you would, please forward it to your contact list. I would really appreciate it. Its a great opportunity for special needs kids in the community.

The event is designed to "help children with special needs become confident with law enforcement and emergency service providers...." Perhaps a similar program can be organized for local civil rights organizations.

But there's one comforting thing about this promotion. It's being held at the Northern Little League complex - which makes this the most positive e-mail we've had about local Little League in a long time.

The number of unique visitors to our blog is up more than 18 percent so far this year! To advertise to them, offer a story tip, make a PayPal donation or comment on this blog, write me - but be warned, I may post your e-mail comment and offer a reply.
